Are you having a hard time dealing with people? We've all been there but we don't have to stay in a frustrating position. Declare these words over your life.
Lord, I commit to not using foul or abusive language. Everything that I say will be good and helpful, so that my words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.
Ephesians 4:29 NLT
“Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.”
Instead of being negative, I will be kind to other people I will be tenderhearted and forgiving, just as you, God, through Christ have forgiven me.
Ephesians 4:32 NLT
“Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.”
As hard as it may be, I am determined to love my enemies! I choose to do good to those who hate me. I will bless those who curse me and pray for those who hurt me. I will do to others as I would like them to do to me.
Luke 6:27-28, 31 NLT
“But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you. Do to others as you would like them to do to you.
I love my enemies! I will do good to them and give to them without expecting anything in return from them. Then my reward from heaven will be very great, and I will truly be acting as a child of the Most High God, because God is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked. I am compassionate, just as my Father in heaven is compassionate.
Luke 6:35-36 NLT
“Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked. You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate.”
I will love others around me as I love myself.
Galatians 5:14 NLT
For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.
I will always be humble and gentle. I commit to being patient with people, making allowance for their faults because of my love for them.
Ephesians 4:2 NLT
“Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.”
God, You command me to so I will love others in the same way that You have loved me.
John 15:12 NLT
“This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.”
I won't rejoice or be happy when bad things happen to people who would consider me to be an enemy.
Proverbs 24:17 NLT
“Don’t rejoice when your enemies fall; don’t be happy when they stumble.”
I won't just pretend to love others. I will really love them. I choose to Hate what is wrong and hold tightly to what is good. I love others with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring them.
Romans 12:9-10 NLT
“Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.”
